Knowing the importance of food and keeping in view the main topic of"National Children
to make a project on fast food. In our project 'Fast food and its effect 'we have discussed the harmful
effects of consuming fast food.Good health is the key to success. But it is seen that now-a-days many people are attracted towards fast foods like pizzas, burgers, hot dogs, chow-mins etc. They are not at all careful about
their health.
Before begining the project we have approached our guide and under his suggestion, approached various doctors and elderly gentlemen to acquire more knowledge about our project.
We have take a survey area. We asked various people questions regarding fast Food. We have inquired that 72% of all people consume fast food, out of which 50%consumes only for fast and the rest 22% for it's quick serving.
Fast food is really harmful for human beings. Regular taking of fast food may effect our heart, liver and intestine. It is also harmful for blood pressure patient. Fast food generally contains huge amount of oil, spices, fats etc. which is hard to digest. Excessive consumption of fast food
items (containing fats) may hamper in the smooth flowing of our blood.
It is seen that many fast food shops are not well guarded with glasses. The food items are not covered. They also some time use unpurified water (generally water of ponds, wells, hand pumps etc.) Maintaining extreme cleanliness is very essential for us. It is known to all that dirt is the
breeding place for germs. Our food items must be germ free.
Consuming too much of cold drinks is not good for our health. According to Dr. David Sawham excessive use of cold drink is harmful and it may lead to a disease called" Albominoria"too much cold drinks directly effects the enamel of our teeth.
Thus it is seen that fast' Food is very dangerous to our health. It leads to numerous diseases.To maintain good health we should avoid fast food.
By avoiding fast food we can maintain good health. Instead of taking cold drinks, we can use lemon water and other fruit juices. We can also prepare items like biriyani, momno, chowmin etc.
At home with limited oil and spices. It a child is given food at proper time, he/she wil not be attracted towards fast food. Teacher's and guardians should take steps on restriction of consuming
fast food.
We are aware of the harmful effects of fast food. It is our responsibility to bring awareness
among the common people about the ill effects of fast food. Regular food habits should be strongly be maintained for the proper functioning of the organs of our body. Our dream of safe environment
will be successful if we can maintain good health.
